Not really a hot take.
Meta sux. Duh. How hard is it to show me content I actually want to see? Isn’t that what the follow button was made for? Well it was at one point but then Meta realized wait. It’s more profitable if we just show everyone everything lawl.
Sux. I hate it. I can’t even have a private account, following no one anymore without some garbo shoved onto my feed
I guess the smartest way to get rid of this problem is to like, log off. But apparently that’s too hard for me.
Though it sucks how places you can connect with your friends have just turned into a time sucking, endless watching and scrolling tool that mega corps get rich off.
Edit: I accidentally wrote a worse version of iancobain’s post without even knowing it. Go read his “why Social Media is not DIY” it comes for it’s THROAT!
